Graduate Training

As the end of your studies draws near, the last thing you may be considering is taking another course! However, many recent graduates find that further training can be a useful way of enhancing existing skills or developing new ones. You may have some time on your hands after graduating. Perhaps you are waiting to take up a job offer, or you may be seeking employment. Using this time constructively to complete a short course could enhance not only your own confidence and personal development, but also make you far more attractive to future employers.

Some courses are aimed specifically at people who are unemployed and may even specify how long you must be unemployed for before you are eligible to start. Most of these courses are designed so that if you are in receipt of benefit you will continue to receive them whilst on the course. Whatever type of course you are considering you need to check if the course is free or not, and whether any benefits you get will be affected by your participation in the course.
