Young Enterprise

University of Liverpool

The Student Enterprise Society meet twice a month and hold a business plan competition. For further information, email enquiries@enterliverpool.com. There is also an annual Business Plan Competition held at the University of Liverpool Management School. It is open to all staff and students of the University of Liverpool, who are able to submit a short Business Plan.

The MBA in Entrepreneurship is highly competitive as it is only open to around 30 graduates each year. Students will receive focused tuition in aspects of management that all new ventures need, such as business planning, finance and marketing. Liverpool John Moores University

Based in the Peter Jost Enterprise Centre, the Student Enterprise project is being delivered in partnership with the Young Enterprise Graduate Programme. Supported by the European Social Fund, they are committed to helping John Moores students to develop their entrepreneurial potential, discover more about starting up in business and put their business ideas into practice. Liverpool Hope University

Business students are able to learn entrepreneurial skills such as report writing, developing marketing strategies and managing finances as part of their studies. Liverpool Plus

Liverpool Plus has been established to help Social Enterprises (businesses run on a not-for-profit basis) in this region. The Liverpool Plus Enterprise Development Fund is designed to assist new social enterprises or third sector organisations developing new trading activities. The Liverpool Plus Feasibility & Development Award Fund is aimed at funding third sector organisations investigating or market-testing potential business opportunities.
